Where is the HASSO Rent-a-Car office?
The HASSO Rent a Car office is located in the Polígono de Son Oms (C/ Canal de Sant Jordi, 7), just a few minutes from the airport arrivals terminal. All rental contracts are made there. For those customers coming from the airport, we have a free shuttle bus service to take you to our offices. You will find it located next to the taxi rank in the arrivals area.
What is the rental procedure?
To rent a car with us you must book through the website www.hasso-rentacar.com , by phone on +34 971 43 05 77 or in our offices. When picking up the vehicle you must bring your driver’s licence, your original ID or passport (also for additional drivers) and your bank card. It is not possible to rent a vehicle without presenting the original documents. If your pick-up point is the airport a shuttle bus will take you to our offices, which are a few minutes away. There, we will deliver your vehicle.
How does collection and return work with the Fresh rate?
With our new Fresh rate, the collection and return of the vehicle is completely autonomous, through your mobile phone, without the need to download any App and without going to the counter. 24 hours before the start of the rental, you will receive a link to find and open your vehicle. Please note that in order to carry out the initial opening and closing of the vehicle, it will be necessary to have a mobile phone with a camera and internet connection.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
Original passport or ID card (also for additional drivers), original driving licence (also for additional drivers) and a card as method of payment: this can be a credit card if the Cool or Fresh tariff is contracted; or a debit card if our All Inclusive coverage and the ‘Bodyguard’ package are taken out and the fuel tank is paid in advance.
You can pay for your car hire online through our website or you can choose to pay on arrival and pay when you collect your vehicle from our offices.
Remember that if you hire our Brave or Fresh rate, only prepayment is accepted through our website.

– VISA or MasterCard credit cards (except prepaid cards).
– Debit card, only if you take out All Inclusive insurance, the ‘bodyguard’ package (10€ per day) and pay for the fuel in advance or leave a deposit for it. You must pay when collecting the vehicle.
Can I choose the model, colour, engine, or type of fuel?
For technical reasons we can not guarantee a specific model, only the group or category of the reserved vehicle. However, when you pick up the car, tell our staff your preferences. When available, we will offer a vehicle with your desired features.
Can cars be delivered or returned anywhere in Mallorca?
Currently we only offer a pick-up and drop-off service at our office located in Son Oms (just 5 minutes from the airport terminal). From HASSO, we offer you a free shuttle bus service that will pick you up at the airport and take you to our office. If you wish to pick up the car directly at the airport terminal, you can do so with our new Fresh rate, paying a supplement of 30€ (includes pick-up and drop-off).
How are the rental days counted?
The days are counted as 24 hours starting from the moment of the formalisation of the contract.
What is the minimum rental age at HASSO?
The minimum age of the driver must be 21 years and the driver’s licence must be at least one year old. For drivers between 21 and 24 years of age, an additional young driver supplement of €7 per day must be contracted. If the rental is for a high-value model, the driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a driver’s licence for at least one year.
What is the maximum age for renting a vehicle?
The maximum age to rent a vehicle with Hasso is 80 years old.
Can reservations be modified or cancelled?
Only if you book our Cool rate or our Fresh rate, you will be able to modify or cancel your reservations free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of your booking. To do so, please call us or send us an email.
Is it possible to extend the duration of the contract?
Yes, you can extend the contract. You will have to go to any of our offices for this purpose.
Who is authorised to drive the rental car?
Only the persons registered on the contract can drive the vehicle. You can add up to two additional drivers to the contract for 8€ per day per driver.
What is the difference between the Cool rate and the Fresh rate?
The type of coverage included in both rates is the same, the All Inclusive coverage. However, there are some differences. The main difference is the way you pick up the vehicle. With the Cool rate, you will have to go to the counter at our offices to sign the contract and pick up the keys to your vehicle. On the other hand, with the Fresh rate, the collection will be autonomous: you will open the vehicle yourself with your mobile phone via a link and pick up the keys from the glove box. With the Fresh rate, you can also choose to pick up your vehicle at the airport terminal itself, but you will have to pay a supplement of €30 (including pick-up and return service).
What kind of extras can be booked with the rental car?
Baby carriers, children’s seats and GPS.
What types of insurance can I book?
SBCF(Basic Insurance with Excess): The customer will be responsible for a minimum amount, called franchise, which will be set expressly in the contract and to which the lessee will bear the costs and / or losses.
All-inclusive insurance/coverage: this optional service is an all-inclusive insurance. It includes, apart from the basic insurance without excess (SBSF), our wheel and glass insurance (SRC).
